HI all,
just did a fresh svn checkout and all goes well but interpreter wont start instead i get the following errors. help! :) these two -> ERROR: Class extension for nonexistent class 'SelectX' In file:'/usr/share/SuperCollider/SCClassLibrary/Common/Audio/UGenCategories.sc' ERROR: Class extension for nonexistent class 'SelectXFocus' In file:'/usr/share/SuperCollider/SCClassLibrary/Common/Audio/UGenCategories.sc' seem to disappear if I include the crucial lib, but the platformClass error still remains. what does your ~/.sclang.cfg look like? Could you post it here? if you don't have one, create one with the following contents:
+/usr/share/SuperCollider/SCClassLibrary +/usr/share/SuperCollider/Extensions I just did a checkout and things work fine for me, and I think it could have something to do with the classpath and thus order of compilation of the classlib. Thanks for that, changing the order of extensions+ classlib fixed that.

Hiho,
since quite a while the .sclang.cfg is optional.
