Hi,

I’m using spring-1.2.2-d-2 with lingo1.0 which works fine.

When I tried to switch to spring1.2.5 with aop.jar I got an “method not found” exception. Is there any way to get lingo run with “standard” spring libs?

Also you are stating that you will provide other transports – do you already have a roadmap for that?

Thanks and have fun

Andreas

lingo uses spring 1.2.5 since 1.0 at least, so this is strange that you
experience errors with it.
Could you provide more infos please ?

Could you provide a stack trace please?

FWIW the 1.0 release was built with Spring 1.2.5 - the current source uses 1.2.5 and all the tests run fine for us. Could it be some other jar - maybe cglib or something?

We've focussed mostly on JMS up to now but we'd like to support JBI via a project called ServiceMix which would allow us to reuse any JBI transport; right now ServiceMix has files, WebDAV, Samba, RSS, Jabber, HTTP & email - so would be a useful way to extend Lingo with more transports.

Hi Guillaume, James

thanks for your answers!

problem was the aop.jar, which was an old one. Now it runs perfectly.

Now I'm trying to integrate lingo / jencks / genericra / ibm mq. I know that there had been some talks in this forum some time ago: do you have a sample config file for such an environment?

Andreas

Lingo works with any ConnectionFactory so is pretty straight forward;
I'd use the XML config file from Jencks which uses genericra as a
first step for working with IBM MQ
