Initial Comment:
There are several issues with the player:
1) Every 2-5 times libgphoto connects to it, the device freezes and i have to reset it using the reset switch and a pin before i can use it again. I'm not sure if this is a device issue or a libghoto2 issue. It seems like calling gp_camera_exit freezes the device up.

2) When listing the files on the device by connecting to it and iterating through all the folders, i get different numbers of files each time. The total number of files on the device changes by up to ~150 - it's completely random.

also try to add the DEVICE_FLAG_BROKEN_MTPGETOBJPROPLIST_ALL
flag to the device entry in music-players.h

this seems to be one symptom that the problem hands out.
