Anybody got a clue what this is all about? Is this a scam? davidmaxmark is an ebay seller with about 5 sales in several years. The listed item is some baseball tickets sold to someone (not me) for $2700 and the seller is not davidmaxmark. I get these scams all the time. Especially after I use Pay Pal, right on
schedule I get spoofs for them. send it here, within a few minutes you'll get a note they are looking and or it is for certain NOT from them "Spoof@..." <spoof@...> same link for paypal. never ever log into any site via a link that is on an e-mail that is sent to you, if you haven't saved the link, search their log in page or home page via google or something else. May I suggest that you report it before deleting and forgetting about it? I report all such invasions of my POP server with a report to the organisation supposedly organising it and a spam report with SpamCop. Thanks for letting us know about yet another email scam, Chuck. Thanks, all. I have forwarded the message to spoof@.... It
smelled very strongly of spoof but I was confused by seeing ebay.com in the link. Nevertheless, I know enough not to click on unsolicited links and should have realized that the IP address at front was taking precedence.
