Hi all,
I heard dmalloc talking on IRC a few weeks ago about moving the current web
management to a new one. I can provide you some feedbacks (from my cto's
compagny for example), so I first need some additional informations please :
Topic: (a kind of introduction to what is Fink)
The Fink project wants to bring the full world of Unix Open Source software to
Darwin and Mac OS X, providing tools to compile and runs *nix softs on Mac as
well as a powerful binary package management.
Registered as a Sourceforge project in 2001, Fink is now maintaining more than
7600 packages, supported by an active community and helped by worldwide
contributors.
At the moment Fink is running its own specific web tool to manage the site,
but would like to switch to a CMS, to get an easier management, to renew the
design, and to suggest fink users to interact with fink developers.
Current settings: (the most detailed stuffs I miss)
* mysql database related to packages
* custom php engine
* no back office interface
I don't know the word in english but I suppose "you know what I mean", to
write the minimum (analyze, requirements, etc...), all the steps before
specificatons :)
