[Feedback] Why doesn't read Amarok cover from tags?

Miguel Bayon Alonso sent a message using the contact form at

I have a huge collection of mp3 and all have his cover embedded inside the  
file using id3tags. Amarok doesn't read these covers. I think is a great idea  
that Amarok tries to read this tags first than goes to the local database of  
covers! Thanks for your attention and apologize for my english!

It does read them, but as soon as you add the file to the collection is never displayed again. Had a bug open for this but it makes no sense fixing it now as A2 is about to be out.
