After looking on the web, it seems this problem is present with other
distribs (knoppix, fedora).
The solution to have the DVD drive recognised is to add 'all-generic-ide
irqpoll' to the kernel options (F3 when booting the CD).
The drive is correctly working after.
Should I file a bug report or can someone from mandriva acknowledge this
problem ?
