Summary: urpmi refuses to install i586 packages.
    Classification: Mandriva Linux
           Product: Mandriva Linux
           Version: 2009.0
          Platform: x86_64
               URL: http://expert.mandriva.com/question/105750
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: normal
         Component: Core Packages
        AssignedTo: pixel@...
        ReportedBy: ybourhis@...
         QAContact: bugs@...

When reading this errata:
http://wiki.mandriva.com/en/2009.0_Errata#Webcam_support_in_Skype
If you try to install the i586 version of libv4l via urpmi here is what
happens:

urpmi libv4l-0.4.3-1mdv2009.0.i586
<Nada Niet Nothing Nichts Rien>
And then you get the prompt back

To install it, this command was required:
rpm -ivh $(urpmq --sources libv4l-0.4.3-1mdv2009.0.i586)

And "that" worked.
Could it be also mentionned in the errata how to install this package?

Yes:

Le paquetage demandé ne peut pas être installé :
libv4l-0.4.3-1mdv2009.0.i586 (afin de garder libv4l-0.4.3-1mdv2009.0.x86_64)
Désirez-vous tout de même continuer ? (O/n) o

This kind of message SHOULD however appear without -vvv

Thanks.
