I got the issue too.
Window Manager: xfwm4
Video Card: Geforce 8800GTX
Video Driver: nvidia
Seems to occur with any driver selected in gxine (xv, sdl, xvmc, XDirectFB) for
me except for opengl. The opengl driver keeps me from closing gxine cleanly
though.
When I try to resize or fullscreen a video or even the mp3 audio visualization
the video and GUI freeze followed by the audio a few seconds later. I ran it
with verbosity on but nothing more was printed out when I resized the video.
Running on Gentoo amd64. See USE flags compiled with below:
