Hi thanks for prompt reply but still I am facing problems-

In "Test Maven and create a local repository' section this is the out put when I try the following commands -

C:temp1>mvn --version
Maven version: 2.0.5

C:temp1>mvn archetype:create -DgroupId=testapp -DartifactId=testapp

And I tried to follow the steps in "Install AndroMDA Application plugin" section(next one), I have all the previous steps as per the guidelines and this is the output when I try with mvn command(same output as before)

"I am using a proxy and as per the guidelines I was not able to find settings.xml or it is not present there in .m2 folder so I create a build.properties file at this location C:Documents and Settingsmy user name  with these values -maven.repo.remote=http://www.ibiblio.org/maven2,http://team.andromda.org/maven2

maven.proxy.host=dc1
maven.proxy.port=8080
