For some examples of Benders Decomposition implemented through AMPL scripts,
see www.ampl.com/NEW/LOOP2.
An example of how an AMPL script was set up to solve multiple subproblems in
parallel is given in
Elizabeth D. Dolan, Robert Fourer, Jean-Pierre Goux,
Todd S. Munson, and Jason Sarich, "Kestrel: An Interface
from Optimization Modeling Systems to the NEOS Server."
INFORMS JOURNAL ON COMPUTING, published online before
print: July 7, 2008, DOI:10.1287/ijoc.1080.0264,
though the target in this case is not a Linux or Windows cluster. I can't
post this article but I can send it to anyone who requests a copy.
