I typed in a message in Pidgin, and I tried to receive it through another Pidgin client, through Zinc, and through Yahoo Messenger (On windows) and I was unable to see it. No, it does not change anything. This does seem to be caused by a protocol change as no other applications work (including finch and zinc) without first going through the room list. I tried contacting Yahoo about any protocol changes but naturally they did not tell me anything.
