 to expand slightly: winhugs has an option to automatically reload files
 when they
 have changed on disk. instead of the reload, i'd just like to see a visual
 indication (modified prompt/frame colour/printed message). should be the
 same
 code?

 This is feasible to do, but requires an additional flag - we currently
 have -A to auto-reload, we'd need another flag to say "warn if a reload
 would be needed". This option can't simply be ¬A, since it will have to
 hit the disk, and will slow down on network connections etc.

 Anyone want to pick a letter?
