 Please add the ability for Pidgin to remember which monitor it has been
 set to use.  I almost always have to move Pidgin from monitor 1 to monitor
 manually when opened.

 Using Vista Ultimate SP1 with an Nvidia card.

 -This shouldn't just be limited to dual monitors, although that would be
 the most likely use.
 -This applies to the docking location and chat window locations (neither
 are remembered).

Comment:

 pidgin does in fact remember the buddy list window location and size and
 the conversation window location and size (and screen, I use it at work in
 a dual screen setup and it correctly places my conversation window on my
 non-primary screen). The conversation window location is remembered on
 Windows only because window managers on things other than Windows are at
 least capable of being made to do this correctly. I'm using XP for
 reference. What exactly are you not seeing pidgin remember? Do you have
 any plugins loaded? What about fancy multiple desktop programs or alt-tab
 replacement programs, etc?

 I'm using the following plugins:
 History 2.4.1
 Log Reader 2.4.1
 Psychic Mode 2.4.1
 Windows Pidgin Options 2.4.1 (set to Dockable)

 Pidgin doesn't remember the docked location of the program itself.  It
 will always dock on the left side of monitor one when I had closed it
 while docked on the left side of monitor two.

 No fancy multi-desktop programs or alt-tab replacements.  Just nVidia
 ForceWare software for my card.

Comment:

 Ah, I missed you specify that it doesn't remember the docked position. So
 you have pidgin docked to the side of your second monitor and it restores
 itself docked to the side of your primary monitor? But it should be
 remembering the conversation window location (and you didn't mention that
 this time) so is that working or not for new conversation windows?

 Version 2.5.1 - Windows

 The buddy list and conversation windows remember their positions (and
 monitor) correctly, but the buddy list is not remembering that it was
 docked to the location.

 I dock it to the right side of monitor 2. Quit and Restart pidgin (or
 shutdown and reboot). Buddy list comes back on the right side of monitor 2
 but is no longer docked there.
