Summary: qt-imm prevent to use pinentry-qt
Initial Comment:
when qt-imm is not installed, I can use pinentry-qt as front end for gnupg when I want to enter passphrase for sending signed email or using keychain.
As soon as qt-imm is install, when I have to enter passphrase, I see the pinentry-qt windows opening and closing fastly(I dont have time to enter anything) three time in a row and telling me that the mail can't be signed because a bad passphrase. pinentry-grk2 works flawlessly.
appart this problem scim/skim work fine with other application (i can switch to other language and entrer japanese or cyrilic character).
this problem happen both at home and work with two differents system:
