Initial Comment:
I have eclipse SDK 3.3.2 on kubuntu 8.04.
In order to install the repast plugins I have followed the installation steps on:
http://repast.sourceforge.net/plugin-installation.html

When I try to select "repast simphony proyect" wizard I got this error:
"The selected wizard could not be started.
Plugin "repast.simphony.agents" was unable to instantiate class "repast.simphony.agents.designer.ui.wizards.NewProjectCreationWizard"

Any help would be very appreciated.

You have noted that an "java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError" error
message is generated. Can you post the full error message including call
stack so I can check source of the problem?

Please might we re-open this issue?

I'm having the same problem on Eclipse 3.2, Xubuntu 8.04.  Eclipse works
fine with other plug-ins.

I just got rid of java-cgj and have forced eclipse to use
java-6-sun-1.6.0.07.  Now the error is rather less descriptive:
java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError.

I've had Repast Simphony working on the same version of eclipse on OS X so
I'm not sure what's wrong.

When I have the time I'm going to try downloading from sourceforge rather
than via the eclipse remote update and then perhaps trying Eclipse 3.4 as
suggested in the install instructions.  I'd be grateful for any advice in
the meantime!
