when logging into phpldapadmin 1.1.0.5 running under Sun Java System Web Server 7.0U2 with FastCGI PHP 5.2.6, https protocol detection doesn't work. this means the warning about using an insecure connection is displayed on the login form even though the connection is secure.
this happens because SJS Web Server sets HTTPS to 'ON' (uppercase) instead of 'on'. the fix is to check tolower($_SERVER['HTTPS']) instead of just $_SERVER['HTTPS'] in login_form.php.
