Summary: Bring back JUnitPlugin

Initial Comment:
I have used with great success Grinder 2, but cannot longer use it because we have changed to windows XP and the sysadmins will no longer allow IP multicasting.

The JUnitPlugin was very useful and a main point in favour of using Grinder, especially as most Java projects use JUnit, anyway. Unfortunately the plugin support in Grinder was dropped in favour of  Jython.

Why not bring back JUnitPlugin support? I find

grinder.plugin=net.grinder.plugin.junit.JUnitPlugin
grinder.plugin.parameter.testSuite=corba.Client

very much easier than having to write a Jython script.

Thanks,
Jrgen

I couldn't agree more. It is singularly weird that a Java engine that uses
a Java API (net.grinder....) requires some bizarre, Perl-esque scripting
language to use the API. I am finding "Jython" to be a major frustration in
attempting to pick up Grinder 3 as a tool, as I am Java programmer. It
simply doesn't make sense to me that in order to use a Java API in a Java
engine I have to use a weird variant of the Python scripting language.
