If you're on a dedicated box you could enable the built-in Windows server to upload the file. application memory pool issuesWe're getting a bunch of Application Pool errors under IIS 6.0 on our
production machine. Sites are suddenly not working or intermittently responding. Does anyone out there have any experience with AppPool issues? Re: (ot) Anyone run into this issue w/ CrystalTech.comLots of systems have reserved folder names. If you're running windows, just try to create a PRN or CON folder. :D

Re: application memory pool issuesI have had problems when the sysadmin tried setting up a different
application pool for all of my CF sites on a server. Just my 2c worth, keep all of your CF sites in the same IIS app pool. nathan strutz http://www.dopefly.com/ On Wed, Jul 2, 2008 at 6:15 AM, Leitch, Oblio <Oblio.Leitch@...> wrote: > We're getting a bunch of Application Pool errors under IIS 6.0 on our > production machine. Re: application memory pool issuesYeah...
Nathan and I were at a company where our sys admin made the decision to create HUNDREDS of app pools on our servers.. it made a huge mess. If you are not using .net, don't mess with the app pool. Have just the default one. -- Alan Rother Adobe Certified Advanced ColdFusion MX 7 Developer Manager, Phoenix Cold Fusion User Group, AZCFUG.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:308491 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=17837.14401.4 |

CF DNS CacheDoes CF (7) ever clear it's DNS cache, or does it have to be done via a
restart, please? Re: CF DNS CacheIt has to be done via restart, by default. It's actually the JVM that
does this caching, and it's configurable via a properties file. I can't remember which one off the top of my head. cheers, barneyb On Tue, Jul 8, 2008 at 2:51 PM, Jenny Gavin-Wear <jennygw@...> wrote: > Does CF (7) ever clear it's DNS cache, or does it have to be done via a > restart, please? > > Jenny > > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/message.cfm/messageid:308795 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=17837.14401.4 |
