Hi everyone!

 

sorry for my previous post, as i managed not to put linebreaks into my text, so i decided

to make it more easier to read

 

I Have problems playing sound with portaudio

 

The simple program I've written

produces sound in a way that i don't understand.

I wanted a simple saw wave oscillator but i had to raise the frames per buffer to very high

otherwise

the sound wasn't like a saw wave but more than something recorded at very low samplerate or even worse.

But with that very high frames per buffer amount the oscillation is not continuous.

Short silences are produced between the oscillations,

with the same length as the sounds, as if when the buffer counts

from zero to 'framesperbuffer',

then it counts again but doesn't make any sound, and repeats it again and again.

Did I write something wrong in the code?

What's happening when the buffer ends and starts again from zero ?

Another strange thing that i had to include WinMM.lib to prevent these errors
