Hello,
I am using OpenAL With Vegaprime Application.In my machine SigmaTel Audio drivers are installed.so when I enumerate it shows me only Generic software device as default device and no any other device detected and because of that I am getting destorted sound in my application. so please give me solution for this .It is urgent.

Using the generic software device should not be causing sound distortion.

If you are using Vista, then software is all that is available thanks to Microsoft breaking
accelerated sound support in this OS.

Also try updating the drivers for your SigmaTel sound chip.
