'daily blog posting' known issues?Hi all, first time poster. I've been using the 'experimental' daily
blog posting feature on del.icio.us since December to post from http://del.icio.us/currybet to my blog at http://www.currybet.net which is running Movable Type 3.2 on a virtual Debian Linux box I rent from Bytemark in the UK. Everything had been fine, but on Wednesday last week, the links suddenly didn't publish to my blog. I didn't get an error message in my Movable Type activity log, or on the del.icio.us page - it just displayed the confirmed success from Tuesday's posting. The same happened on Thursday. On Friday I deleted the daily blog posting on the del.icio.us site, and then created a new one, with the same settings. On Friday the links again failed to publish. The new link job said it was a new job with no results. On Saturday, the links (well, one link that had been bookmarked between when the job *should* have run on the Friday and the run on Saturday) did publish. However, the status page on del.icio.us still said 'new job - no results'. On Sunday and Monday the links have published, but now an hour later than usual (due to the fact I guess that I have moved onto Greek summer time, and the link-posting task specifes GMT). However the job still says 'new job - no results' I emailed the customer support address about the issue last week, and got an email back on Monday saying: "Unfortunately, the feature that you are describing is currently not available at this time in del.icio.us. However, we hope to bring it back in the future." Well, at the moment the feature is still publishing, and still appears on the site, so I'm guessing that is some admin mistake to send out a mail saying that. Has anyone else had any issues with using the 'daily blog posting' feature over the last couple of weeks? all the best, martin -- Martin Belam - http://www.currybet.net |

Re: 'daily blog posting' known issues?Hi Martin,
We had a few hiccups with the blog posting feature, and as a result it was catching up after being restored last week. The laggy behavior should be over by now. Unfortunately, our thingy is very experimental and the status message is not to be believed. We're working on either fixing or removing it but don't have an ETA at this point. If you continue to see weirdness over the next couple days, please let me know. -n. --- In ydn-delicious@..., "Martin Belam" <martin.belam@...> wrote: > > Hi all, first time poster.
