"Cannot find project application"I already got FarCry setup and running great on my own server (Win2003 Server, CFMX8, MSSQL2005). Now I'm trying to set it up for a customer on another server... Win2k, MSSQL2000, CFMX7. I've done it identically to the installation on my owne server... mappings are the same in CFAdmin and IIS, etc, etc. The problem is that it complains it can't find the project application and says check that your mappings are properly setup, which they are. I have cfadmin mapping of /farcry pointing to c:\web\docs\farcry (which then contains the core director and others at that same level). I have an IIS virtual dir mapping of /farcry setup to point to c:\web \docs\farcry\core\admin FarCry works fine if called up as www.whatever.com... but if you try to call it up as www.whatever.com/farcry to get to the admin area, I get the error mentioned above. Is there something different without IIS on Win2K handles mappings versus IIS on Win2003? That's the only thing I can figure, because the file it's looking for is in fact there. Thanks! Re: "Cannot find project application"did the installation went just fine? And at the end when you try to access the admin you get the error or the error shows up during install? Can you send through your ./config/serverspecificvars.cfm and ./www/ Application.cfm files. -- geoff http://www.daemon.com.au/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "farcry-user" group.
